Cust Dairy Goat Fun Day

Pick on a theme and dress up your pet goat!

When: Saturday the 2nd of February 2013, 10 am till 1 pm (the same day as the Cust Village Market)

Where: Cust Community Centre Grounds (just before Cust Domain, where the Cust Village Market is held. Easy to find from the main road.)

  • Informational/educational displays on dairy goats
  • A goat judge and other experienced goat keepers will be there to give commentary and advice on your goats, and answer your goat-related questions

Programme

10:15am Ribbon Parade (Informal Showing of Goats)
Everyone’s dairy goats can be shown and judged informally.

  • Classes:
    Does in milk – any age
    Best udder
    Doe not in milk – over 2 years
    Doe not in milk – 12 months and under 2 years
    Doe kids under 12 months
  • Fancy Dress Class (for pet goats) – Decide on a theme and dress up your goat and yourself!

Does do not have to registered.

There will be no pens so please bring your own pen or something to tie your goats with. You will need to tie your goats to your vehicle or tie-out stakes you bring.

11.30am Hand milking display

All day Obstacle Course (Lead your pet goat through obstacles)

Goat products will be available for sale on the day.

Hi this should be a great morning. Just to let you no it is at the community centre grounds.

Thanks, Alice. Is the community centre grounds just by Cust Domain? Shall we change the description above?

Update: The venue description has now been changed to the Cust Community Centre Grounds.
